If you live in the East Orlando area, you're fortunate to be close to one of the best orthodontic clinics in Florida. Dr. Ross Taddeo Orthodontics has served the surrounding communities for more than 17 years and gives back to the community by speaking with local schools about the benefits and importance of maintaining healthy teeth. His work on bone metabolism has been published in the medical journal Bone and he's a member of several civic and professional organizations. Dr. Taddeo and his staff provide a fun and pleasant atmosphere to their patients as well as some of the best orthodontic procedures you'll find.
Although the office is open during regular hours, we encourage patients to reschedule if they're not feeling well or have cold or flu symptoms. If you have questions, call us, and we'll help you.
Invisalign Braces
We're proud to offer our adult patients the Invisalign system of clear aligner trays if they need braces. Invisalign will gently reposition your teeth, and it won't be obvious you're wearing braces.
For teens, we offer Invisalign Teen, which can accommodate adult teeth that haven't fully erupted. We don't usually provide Invisalign to our very young patients because their permanent teeth haven't fully erupted, but if you have questions about your child's eligibility, call us, and we'll answer them.
Good Hygiene with Invisalign
The Invisalign system is one of the easiest to maintain. You don't need special tools or solutions because you remove the trays before you eat and reinsert them afterward. This means you can eat all your favorite foods and reinsert them afterward.
Make sure you brush and floss your teeth before reinstalling the aligner trays so that food particles aren't trapped underneath. We recommend that you purchase a travel-sized toothbrush and toothpaste for times when you're away from home. Removing all food particles is essential before reinserting your Invisalign braces, so don't neglect this simple and easy step.
How to Clean Your Aligner Trays
Remove your trays and gently brush them with a soft-bristled toothbrush and cool water. Rinse them well before reinserting them over brushed and flossed teeth. The Invisalign Cleaning System is available online if you want to purchase it, but it isn't essential for good maintenance. Call our office if you can't find it online.
