This is mostly a time for us to get acquainted, to find out about your orthodontic goals, and to set the stage for the treatment to come.

Your Initial Exam

Your initial appointment will generally last around 20 minutes, and will be a time for us to get to know you, to perform a thorough orthodontic exam, and to have a brief discussion about your potential treatment options. During this appointment, we'll discuss the following questions, as well as any you may have:

  • Are there any malocclusions or orthodontic conditions?
  • Is now the best time for treatment, or should we wait?
  • What treatment methods are available?
  • How long will treatment last?
  • What will treatment cost?
  • What are my financial options?

We'll go over these general questions, along with any others you have, at your initial exam, then we'll schedule a second visit to our East Orlando office to have a more specific discussion. Between the visits, we'll perform a thorough diagnostic assessment, and present you with our findings and our treatment recommendations. At this second appointment, we'll have an in depth discussion of your condition, potential treatment methods, and financial options.
