How Does It Work?
With the use of laser light and cameras, the iTero 3D scanner creates a digital model of your teeth and gums. The process is similar to taking a digital picture. However, the scanner takes hundreds of images in a second.
Orthodontic treatments, such as braces or Invisalign, can be planned using a 3D image created by the scanner as it moves around your mouth. As the iTero scanner is so accurate, the fit of these items are excellent.
